Midrails are generally used to provide a gap between the balustrade and the handrail.This is most common in Colonial, Contemporary, Heritage, Victorian and Queenslander style of homes. Creative Timbers provide a range of midrail either in Finger Jointed LOSP H3 treated pre primed pine or Solid Merbau. Finger jointed pine is sold in 5.4m Lengths and Solid Merbau is sold in lengths from 0.9m to 3.6m.
