This hardwood is a good durable hardwood that can be used in many applications. Heartwood may be bright yellow when first cut, but becomes a pale to dark reddish brown. Due to its durability it is used in many exterior areas where weather may be a concern such as decking, flooring, window joinery, boat building and outdoor furniture.
